A production company in California is looking "for a FEW GOOD DISPATCHERS to play themselves on 'Outrageous 911' a new television series for TLC."
"The show features wacky and unusual non-emergency calls that waste dispatchers valuable time and clog up the 911 system. We're looking for dispatchers to comment on the stories and talk about how to properly use the 911 system."
If you, or someone you know, are interested in being considered for the show, contact Diane Eaton at (626) 535-0868 ext. 248.
Unfortunately, casting is only being held in California, but audio of actual 911 calls from any state are welcome. If you have answered a call that you feel would qualify for this show, check with your commanding officer to make sure it can be released, and give the production company a call.
Hmmm...send us a line when it airs. Might be entertaining or like "Old Home Week". LOL
